Lunch Break
Walked the dogs over lunch break. Dogs & I all got way hot, but it felt rewarding to earn a little pick me up over my lunch. Earned 2 pennies this morning. Kept plotting what I wanted for lunch. Got bad around 10:30am when my tummy got hungry. Might need to figure out a good snack for 10:30. Wheat crackers & cheese? Rather have m&m’s!! Think my first goal is going to be 20lbs. If I can do that, it will give me the confidence to keep going I think. Need to think of a really grat reward for my 1st goal. Can’t think of anything I really want. Maybe a celebration date w/ hub? Don’t know.
Good plan! It is important to set smaller attainable goals and find ways to motivate and reward yourself for a job well done! If you lose 20 pounds, it might be time for a great new outfit to show off the slimmer you!!! Best of luck to you in this journey to a more healthy self!
Thank you, Mollys. I thought about that too, but clothes don’t really mean much to me, but who knows!! I might think differently after I lose the weight!! I try not to put off being happy. I think in order to succeed, we have to be happy with who we are, but not content to remain overweight. That make sense? I’m trying really hard to find my self-worth, and not put off living because I’m overweight. I need to find the joy in living in order to do it fully and I like to think the lbs will start just falling off , but it is partially true too.
